We had several Lions, Scouts and friends show up for the Food Collection.
It was a very nice morning. However by 1 pm the temps were well into the 90’s. We had plenty of cool water and a canopy tent. It was actually comfortable in the shade with the nice breeze we had.
Most of our dropped food came in between 9 am and noon. Next time we know and will adjust the schedule.
We collected over 1,000 pounds of food goods. Some of which will go out next week.

One Scout worked the entire 9 -3 event. A lot of enjoyable sharing and friendship building took place. This is what makes Lionism a fun activity.
