On June 21st, The Apex Limited Lions (ALL), made their first donation of snacks and achievement rewards to the under privileged children attending Salem Elementary School. The funds for these snacks were made from our Apex Lions Charitable Fund, a 501(c)3 tax deductible organization.
The snacks are given to children who don’t have money to purchase mid day snacks when the other children do. The rewards items (crayons, coloring books, water bottles etc) are given for attendance and homework achievements.
Our Lions Club received recognition as the tweet went to all parents of students attending Apex Elementary School.
