On Saturday April 25 Troop 209 did a road side pick up for Green Level Church Road. This Adopt A Highway cleanup project was started by Lion W C Millls. Lion W C coordinated this Lions project for many years. Following his death the project was renamed in his honor.
We had 10 scouts, leaders, and parents along with myself conduct the cleanup.
A total of 15 bags of trash were collected during a 2 1/2 hour time period.
Notable items to mention: A very nice pair of Harley sun shades, someones house phone, and a flat turtle that failed to make a safe road crossing.
Thanks to the Troop for another project well done.
