The front view of our darkening tent for eye screenings
The evening started out a little windy and we had some trouble getting the tent to stay put! But once we opened up we had a pretty steady stream of patients. In fact we had our busiest event yet where we provided a total of 138 vision screenings and made 22 referrals. And we did that with only four members! Everybody seemed to be having a good time and we were able to do some “recruiting” from the long lines at the CAPA booth next to ours. Their lines were long and their process takes a lot longer than ours so we had a good many people get eye screenings while their spouse waited in line and then they took turns before they got their IDs at CAPA.
