Strengthening Bonds at Annual Fish Fry

By | June 5, 2025

On April 25, 2025, the Apex Lions Club and Citizens Assisting Police in Apex (CAPA) once again joined forces to host our beloved annual Fish Fry at the historic C.C. Jones Building. This cherished event, a staple in our community for over 40 years, brought together volunteers and residents to enjoy delicious food and fellowship.

During our recent meeting, we had the pleasure of presenting Drew Ludlow from CAPA with their portion of the event’s proceeds. Drew expressed heartfelt gratitude for the ongoing partnership, highlighting how these funds are instrumental in supporting CAPA’s mission to assist the Apex Police Department in various community events and initiatives. He looks forward to continuing this fruitful relationship, emphasizing the positive impact our collaboration has on the community.

The success of the Fish Fry underscores the importance of community involvement and volunteerism. The funds raised not only support CAPA but also enable the Apex Lions Club to continue our work in providing eye exams and glasses to families in need, supporting programs like Camp Dogwood for the Blind, and contributing to various local initiatives.

We invite you to become a part of this vibrant community effort. Whether you’re interested in volunteering, donating, or simply enjoying a delicious meal at our next event, your participation makes a difference. Visit ApexLions.org to learn more about our mission and how you can get involved.

Together, we continue to make Apex the “Peak of Good Living.”
