The Apex Lions Club has been providing snacks for the underprivileged students at Salem Elementary and Olive Chapel Elementary Schools in Apex for the past few years. It is gratifying to help these young children without funds to have a snack to eat when the other children who have money eat their snack, both mornings and afternoons.
Some ladies from “The Women Of All Ages” Sunday School Class heard of what the Apex Lions were doing, they asked if they could participate. The Sunday School Class took this as a project and collected many boxes of snacks. These snacks were recently delivered to Salem Elementary School by representatives of the Church and Lions. The school was very pleased to receive the snacks and the Apex Lions were appreciative of the help and support of the church. LIONS – Loving Individuals Offering Needed Service
