On Saturday, June 14th, 2025 the Apex Lions Club received the Group C Jungle Prowl Award. This is an award given to our club for having successfully visited other clubs in our area. A prowl is when several members of one club visit a meeting held by another club for the purpose of experiencing how the other club does business and possibly learn some new ideas about how to run meetings or even new ideas for fundraisers or service activities.
Not only did the club receive this award, but a few individuals were recognized as well. The individuals were our treasurer, Richard Hall, who received a 100% Treasurer award and our secretary, John Lynde who received a 100% Secretary award as well as a Sid L. Scruggs, Beacon of Hope award at the Lamp Lighter level. John Lynde was present to receive these awards on behalf of the club.
