Girl scouts named Kendra akd Kali joined us this evening to talk about their service project with Guiding Eyes. The girls wrote this themselves and I am simply submitting it for you to enjoy.
My sister Kali and I are Girl Scouts with Troop 3106. We are Cadettes working on our Silver Award Project. We partnered with Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Guiding Eyes for the Blind provides guide dogs to people with vision loss. They are passionate about connecting exceptional dogs with individuals for greater independence. They are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization with all services provided completely free of charge. We chose to partner with this organization because our family has raised 3 Guide Dogs and we puppy sit for the program. The organization is in need of more volunteers to be puppy raisers, puppy sitters or have classroom space to donate for puppy training.
