The weather held off and we had a fantastic Peakfest on Saturday, May 4th 2024! We did a total of 56 Free Eye Screenings and had 7 referrals. While speaking with people as they strolled past the tent several people said they had already been screened at Touch-A-Truck, too.
In addition to doing the free eye screenings we also sold some popcorn, cold drinks and brooms. In fact we managed to sell more than enough to cover our expenses which is always a good thing!
And we also spoke with a number of people about visiting our next meeting on May 16th to consider joining our club. It was a long day, but a good one for our club. We got a lot fo good public exposure and promoted Lionism in Apex!
