We could not have asked for better weather for Peakfest 2025. It was a beautiful day – warm and mostly sunny but with a very nice breeze which was quite refreshing. As a result, there seemed to be a relatively good sized crowd wandering Salem Street and enjoying the vendors, food trucks and attractions of Peakfest 2025.
For our part, we had very good participation of our members while we spoke to people about Lionism, sold beverages and popcorn and provided free eye screenings to all who wanted them. As usual, we had to explain why it is so important and we were definitely appealing to the parents of the young ones we saw passing bye. Apparently, we were convincing because we performed 70 screenings and made 14 referrals this year. That is quite a good number for Peakfest!
