The Apex Lions Club was proud to participate in the Cedar Point Missionary Baptist Church Health Fair in New Hill on October 10, 2025. Our members provided free vision screenings as part of the Lions Clubs International KidsSight USA program, which focuses on the early detection of vision issues in children.
We performed a total of 13 screenings at the health fair, including 6 referrals for full eye examinations. Even though attendance at this event was modest, every screening makes a difference. Each person we help represents another chance to prevent future vision problems and support a lifetime of healthy sight.
The Apex Lions Club continues to serve the community through programs like KidsSight USA, as well as by providing eye exams, glasses, and other forms of assistance to families in need. Our work depends on volunteers who care about their community and want to make a meaningful impact.
