Holiday Fun and Fellowship

By | December 18, 2025

This week, the Apex Lions Club did something a little different. Instead of inviting a formal guest speaker as we usually do, we decided to relax, enjoy each other’s company, and have some fun together. It turned out to be a wonderful change of pace and a great way to celebrate the season.

We kicked off the evening with a lively round of Christmas Trivia. There was plenty of friendly competition, laughter, and a few surprising moments when we discovered that some of our members are extremely good at trivia. It was entertaining, engaging, and a reminder that Lions come with many hidden talents beyond community service.

After trivia, we moved on to a specially designed game of Christmas Bingo. These were not your typical bingo cards. Instead of letters and numbers, the cards featured festive Christmas images. This creative twist kept everyone involved and smiling as we played. The room was filled with good cheer, conversation, and laughter as members enjoyed this lighthearted activity together.

While the evening was all about fun, fellowship, and taking a short break from our usual routine, our commitment to service remains as strong as ever. Early next year, we will be back to work serving our community. In January, we have a work day scheduled to support Western Wake Crisis Ministry, an organization that provides essential assistance to individuals and families in need right here in our area.

Looking ahead to March, we will also begin planning for our annual Fish Fry, one of our most anticipated fundraisers. Events like this allow us to raise funds that support vision care, community programs, and other humanitarian efforts in Apex and beyond.

If you have ever wondered what the Apex Lions Club is about, this meeting captured it perfectly. We work hard, we serve our community, and we also value friendship and fun along the way. As we look ahead to 2026, we invite you to consider joining us. New members help us expand our reach and continue making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Whether you are interested in service, fellowship, or both, there is a place for you with the Apex Lions Club. We look forward to another year of service, and we hope you will be part of it.
