About the Apex Chamber of Commerce
The Apex Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, non-profit association of business people, professionals, churches, civic groups, and individuals. Its mission is to improve the quality of life and economic vitality of the Apex area. The Chamber is financed solely by its members and operates independently of tax dollars and government support.
The Chamber is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors elected by the membership. The Board hires an Executive Director to implement the programs and policies it establishes. The Chamber’s office is located in the historic Apex Union Depot, built in 1914 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. For over four decades, the Chamber has provided valuable resources such as maps, business referrals through its Online Member Directory, and a calendar of events.
