Our speaker this evening was Meghan Rushing from the Apex Senior Center. Meghan is the Recreational Program Supervisor for Senior Programs 55+. She has always had a passion for serving older adults. Serving Elementary Students In Apex

In March, The Apex Lions Clubs restocked Salem Elementary and Olive Chapel Elementary schools with snacks for the underprivileged children who cannot afford to purchase snacks during snack break. This is a program started last summer at Salem Elementary and then expanded to include Olive Chapel Elementary. Not only does this program provide nutrition to the children but it also …
